Altered Surfaces
This one day workshop focuses on various techniques for changing the look of your fabric. We will cover rust dyeing, stamp making and stamping, discharge dyeing, and gelatin plate printing. Students will create one of a kind rust dyed fabrics, learn how to make original stamps, and both add to and take away from existing fabrics to create something new. These are all easy and fun! It's a great way to add something to your stash that is uniquely yours.

Thinking Outside of the Box
Learn the tips and tricks of raw edge fusible web applique as you create a fun expanded square quilted wall hanging. Choose one of the patterns provided plus you will learn how to create your own designs. We will also cover basic instruction on creating the quilt sandwich and free-motion quilting.

Fabric Journal
Learn a simple way to create a beautiful quilted fabric journal cover. These make wonderful gifts for your favorite school teacher, friend...or yourself! We will cover fusing techniques, play with decorative stitching, and learn some basic beading techniques.

Bowled Over
Learn how to make gorgeous fabric bowls...they look difficult, but you'll be bowled over at how simple they really are! We will cover construction for both a square and a round bowl.

Awesome Angelina
It's shiny and beautiful, but what on earth do you do with Angelina fibers and film? This class will teach you how to fuse, emboss, stamp. needle felt, make buttons, and otherwise incorporate these scrumptious fibers into your projects.
